Meeting organized on the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day

spotkanie z okazji swiatowego dnia guza mozgu

Dear Sir or Madam,

On behalf of the Polish Cancer Mission Hub, we are pleased to invite you to participate in a meeting organized on the occasion of World Brain Tumor Day, which will take place on June 8, 2026, from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM at the Maria Skłodowska-Curie National Research Institute of Oncology in Warsaw, located at 5 Roentgen Street.

The Polish Cancer Mission Hub is the first initiative in Europe integrating communities involved in the implementation of the EU Cancer Mission and Europe’s Beating Cancer Plan within the Penta Helix model, bringing together representatives of science, healthcare, public administration, industry, as well as patient and civic organizations.

The aim of the meeting will be to jointly discuss the organization of care for patients with central nervous system tumors, identify the most important systemic challenges, and develop recommendations for a model, coordinated patient pathway.

The event program includes:

  • expert presentations on the diagnosis and treatment of CNS tumors,
  • the patient perspective and analysis of patient experiences,
  • thematic workshops conducted in interdisciplinary working groups,
  • presentation of recommendations and joint stakeholder discussion.

We believe that the participation of representatives from all sectors involved in oncology care will help develop practical and implementable solutions that address the real needs of patients.

Please find the event agenda attached.
