Oncogenic Ppm1d mutations deregulate the p53 pathway in primary mouse gliomas.
High-grade gliomas, such as DMG, remain incurable. New research indicates that PPM1D mutations contribute to deregulation of the p53 pathway; however, their role in tumor initiation and progression requires further investigation.
