Dear Colleagues,
The establishment of the Polish Society of Neuro-Oncology aims to facilitate collaboration and the creation of research projects focused on tumors of the central nervous system.
I warmly invite all representatives of basic and clinical sciences who conduct — or wish to become involved in — research on nervous system tumors to take part in the activities of our Society.
This forum for the exchange of experience between biologists, immunologists, geneticists, histopathologists, radiologists, molecular diagnosticians, radiation oncologists, clinical oncologists, and neurosurgeons is intended to be a place where we can get to know one another, build friendships, and establish scientific collaborations. I hope that through such cooperation, research projects submitted to the Medical Research Agency, the National Science Centre, or the National Centre for Research and Development will be of higher quality and thus have a greater chance of receiving funding.
Our Society also invites Polish scientists who have achieved success in the field of neuro-oncology while working in leading oncological and academic centers worldwide to join and collaborate with us. We hope to draw inspiration from their experience and to participate in their ongoing research projects.
I am truly pleased that this initiative opens the door to new cooperation, and I hope that participation in the Polish Society of Neuro-Oncology will be a source of inspiration, research success, professional satisfaction, and lasting friendships for all our members.
Once again, I warmly invite you to join and collaborate with us.
Prof. Marek Harat, MD, PhD
President of the Polish Society of Neuro-Oncology
